RECEPTION AREA

As the city's first comprehensive Talent Acquisition Centre, Yantai Tower's interior design is imperative to establish a modern office environment that prioritizes employees' well-being while creating an attractive public realm for local citizens. By offering a workspace that is comfortable and conducive to good health, organizations can enhance productivity, mitigate stress, and foster greater job satisfaction. From ergonomic furnishings and carefully selected interior material palettes to ample natural light, numerous strategies have been employed to cultivate a workplace that supports staff members' physical and mental health.

With a focus on enhancing service circulation for visitors and fostering a strong connection between different programmes, the design strategically uses circulation to showcase gradient lighting conditions via sophisticated manoeuvring of a perforated ceiling system, distinguishing the social gathering spaces from the offices.

​

​The retrofit area on the 18th and 19th floors is versatile and dynamic, with 4,200 square meters of office space and 1,200 square meters of facility space. It includes several specifically curated exhibition spaces, meeting spaces, a bookstore, cafeterias, multi-functional spaces, and relaxation/meditation areas. These spaces are seamlessly integrated into the main office circulation, providing various experiences and opportunities for stakeholders and visitors to explore and enjoy.

Circular glass scoops resembling large, transparent enclosures are strategically integrated within the open gathering space at both ends of the floor plan. These unique architectural elements establish secluded and intimate meeting areas, enhanced by the presence of sound-absorbing acoustic curtains.

The exhibition hall fosters a profound sense of meditation, introducing a Zen-like ambience into the bustling working environment.

The tower's top floor has been transformed into an urban oasis, where the executive club, fine dining, and outdoor roof terraces of a music venue on the eastern side are balanced by an art /sculpture display area on the western side, showcasing breathtaking works against the backdrop of stunning panoramic city views. These spaces have become popular for locals and young professionals to gather and socialize, inspiring a new appreciation for art and bringing the enrichment of the city's cultural life.

Establishing a transparent and democratic office environment is fundamental to any thriving enterprise. The office interior promotes open communication and equitable opportunities for all team members. The careful selection of interior materials, including natural oak woods, switchable glass partitioning, and soothing colour palettes, infused the space with warmth and a sense of lightness, leading to a serene atmosphere. By cultivating a culture of transparency and democracy through architectural space, we aim to ensure that people get more chances to interact and socialize, resulting in a more efficient and gratifying workplace for all.
